WOW! Such a crazy last couple of weeks around here! After ending tax season by working 48 hours in four {yes, four!} days, I was pretty wiped out. I spent the next two days doing basically nothing. As in- yoga pants and coffee in bed with Netflix. And maybe a lunch out or two {um,no, I did not wear my yoga pants to lunch, but I was tempted!}

I placed 6 puppies with new homes, which means only 6 to go! And then I’m taking Luci for a snip job. I think she’s over motherhood. 😉 In the meantime, I’ve been thinking of family. A lot. My husband lost one of his favorite Uncle’s to cancer last week, and my grandma, who has also been fighting cancer, recently started hospice care. I will be traveling to see her when my husband returns from his Uncle’s funeral.

A bit of happy news, for me anyway. The treadmill Mark and I bought is not on back order after all, in fact, it arrived today. I never thought I’d be saying this, but I am so excited to be exercising again! It’s way too hot outside and with the treadmill I can have the fan on me and watch Netflix on my iPad. Seriously the only way to go people. I can run for hours with the right show on.
