Twelve days of Christmas has never been so fun! 12 fun days of Secret Santa gift giving to enjoy with your family and friends!

*This is day six in a 13-day series for the Twelve Days of Christmas*
Welcome back to the Twelve Days of Christmas, where you get to play ‘Secret Santa’ to a neighbor or friend!
For background on the history of the song visit the twelve days of Christmas series #1. For the directions on how this whole thing works, visit the twelve days of Christmas series #2.
Remember, each post in this series works together, so be sure to visit them all!
For the FIFTH day…
You will need five glazed donuts {bagels work, too}. Of course, you don’t want to leave anyone out, so be sure to purchase one donut for each person in the home. Then, you can just add a ‘+’ to the printable. For example, if there are 6 people in the home, you would hand write ‘+1’ next to the word FIVE on the printable. Won’t they be so happy to find this breakfast waiting for them?

COOKIE TIME!
Today’s cookie was almost a huge f-a-i-l.
They were flat.as.a.pancake.
I thought about making them a bar cookie instead but had really had my heart set on what I had already planned. So I decided to toss the whole thing.
Luckily, my daughter Megan talked me into making the bars anyway. Well, they were flat, too.
But, as I saw them in the pan I thought, “One by itself is way too thin, but two together? With some frosting? Now I’m on to something!”
So there you have it. The Chewy Chocolate Butterscotch Toffee Cookie Sandwich was born!
{I know, it’s a mouthful, but so are these cookies!}
Epic fail turned epic success, these are way better than what I had originally wanted.
You’re sure to be the best ‘Secret Santa’ ever with these!
