Flavors of mango and orange give this Tropical Beach Bum Cocktail it’s distinct taste!
I’ve always been a fan of fruity cocktails. I don’t care for the darker alcohols, like whiskey & bourbon, but I do love the lighter ones, like vodka and light rum. So, this summer I’ve been doing some experimenting with different flavors. I’m really loving this Island Bay Breeze, which is made with coconut flavored rum, and a few others.
Coconut rum has pretty much become a staple in my house, but the other day I got a wild hair and decided to pick up a bottle of mango rum. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not, but it ended up being really delicious.
At the end of a busy day, there’s nothing I like more than sitting in my backyard enjoying a fruity cocktail with Mark. We listen to old school country music and chat about our day, or sometimes future plans. It’s nice to be able to relax and connect like that. Usually the dogs are right there with us, snuggling in for attention or getting into the pool {which I swear they know they aren’t supposed to do, but do it anyway}.
I think you’d enjoy a refreshing glass of this Tropical Beach Bum Cocktail, too!
