Every Friday I highlight a sweet treat from a different blogger. I hope you will come back each week to see what’s {and who’s} being featured!
I love cupcakes. There, I said it! After all, the first step in recovery is admitting you have a problem, right? But cupcakes aren’t something I care to be delivered from.
I mean, they aren’t even bad. In fact, there are a lot of great qualities in a cupcake. For instance:
They are the perfect size {we’re talking the not-for-sharing-size}.
They’re cute!
They come in lots of yummy flavors.
You can frame them.
Wait what?!
That’s right. Frame them!
And that’s exactly what my friends Valerie and Laura over at Occasionally Crafty did.
Don’t you just love this Cupcake Stitchery?! {Well, I do!}
It seriously makes me want to just take a big bite out of it!
Not too familiar with framing stitchery? No problem! They have a tutorial on how to do it. They also show you how to add the great color for the frosting {which, by the way, I am so doing on my next embroidery project!}
They have some other ‘sweet’ stuff on their blog, too. Like this ruffle shirt. In fact, I think I may just make one for myself!
You should totally check out their “Make Your Own” series, too. This make-your-own Lipton Onion Soup and Cream of Whatever Soup is genius!
Oh, did I tell you? Valerie and Laura are sisters! How fun is that? Valerie is here in Arizona while Laura lives in Colorado. I just think it’s great how they have found a way to stay close and connected through their love of blogging!
Be sure to visit Valerie and Laura on their blog. And tell them hello for me!
