When I say no fuss terrarium, I mean exactly that. Let me backtrack a moment here. When I refer to someone as having a ‘black thumb’, I’m being kind of literal. OK, a lot literal.
I once heard somewhere that the reason some people kill plants no matter what they do has nothing to do with luck.
Did you know that the chemicals in our bodies affect plants when we touch them?
I guess what I’m saying is that a person with a black thumb has a ph balance that’s jacked up, self included. Whenever I touch plants, they seem to die, rapidly. So basically, the Midas touch, only in reverse.

If you’re tired of plants dying around you, but love the warmth they bring to your home, or you know someone else that feels this way, I’ve got the perfect solution for you.
You literally only need as little as three items to make your no fuss terrarium:
The first thing I did was fill my terrarium with river rocks.
Then, since I didn’t want to mess with wire cutters, I simply bent the wire stem on my artificial succulent so that it would fit nicely in the rock, without sticking up too far.
Once that was done, I inserted the succulent into the rocks, turning it to get the best side facing towards the front. Then, I made sure that the rocks covered the stem so it wouldn’t show.
And there you have it. An easy no fuss terrarium that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. I loved the first one so much I actually made a second one.
Happy no fuss terrarium making!
