Ready in just 10 minutes, rosemary garlic bread is loaded with the flavors of Italy.
Let’s face it, it’s not always easy finding the time for a few romantic moments with your spouse. When Mark and I first married, we loved having date night. Unfortunately, it wasn’t always possible with five kids. Neither set of parents lived close by and a sitter was too expensive.
Not to mention, our evenings were filled with making sure the kids did their homework, chores and last minute projects.
Now that they are older, it’s easier to find the time to go out, but, we actually prefer staying in. Our lives seem to be as busy as ever with work, school dances, and grandchildren.
Honestly, most evenings we are just too tired to go anywhere and I am sure you can relate.
That’s what I love about Bertolli®. Their quick and easy meals allow you to spend less time in the kitchen and more time together as a couple. I found them at my local Fry’s grocery store in the freezer section near the family meals.
The Chicken Florentine & Farfalle Pasta caught my eye, and I knew Mark would love it as well. It’s just the right amount for two people, so no worrying about leftovers.
When I got to the checkout, I saw some fresh bakery French bread and I thought it would be perfect with our meal.
When we were ready to sit down to a delicious meal, I simply added the Bertolli Chicken Florentine & Farfalle Pasta to a pan and covered it. The only thing left to do was to occasionally stir it, making sure it heated evenly and thoroughly.
Rather than making plain-jane garlic bread with butter, I decided to fancy it up a bit. Not only is rosemary garlic bread is the perfect addition to any Bertolli frozen meal, it bakes while the pasta is cooking, saving you time.
First, slice the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise.
Next, spread with olive oil.
Sprinkle with garlic powder and rosemary and bake while pasta cooks.
Want to make dinner even more special? Serve your Bertolli Chicken Florentine & Farfalle Pasta in your best dishes and put the garlic bread in a serving bowl on the table.

When my Italian great grandmother would come and stay with my grandmother to escape the east coast winters, she would always say ‘Mangia, mangia!” (Did you know mangia means ‘to eat’?). Anytime we have an Italian meal, or whenever I hear the phrase, I can’t help but think of her.
