Hello everyone!! My name is Meegan from What Meegan Makes. I am honored that Rachel asked me to be a apart of the 25 Days of Christmas. I am excited to show you one of my fave and easy peasy projects. Not only that-BUT I LOVE to use it with my Christmas decorations.
A few years ago I visited Anthropologie and saw a pine cone garland for $30, I KNOW too much for me to pay, so I got my creative juices going and decided to make my own.
I first gathered a few pine cones and my jute.
Using hot glue, I adhered my small pine cones to the jute.
I kept adding my pine cones, but not in any certain distance between. (I like imperfect things)
While visiting my mom she gave me some other types of pine cones and pecans. Hmmm….
Yep, you guessed it, I added them to my pine cone garland!!
I really like the woodsy and natural look of the garland, don’t you??
You could drape or hang it any where in your home as a Christmas decoration. You could even hang it on your tree, like I did here…
I like easy peasy and quick projects that make an impact. This Anthropologie Inspired Pine Cone and Pecan Garland is most certainly one. And the cost??? about $2. Not too shabby, right??
Thanks Rachel for asking me today to help you with the 25 Days of Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
