Hi all! I’m so excited to be hosting 25 Days of Christmas! Beginning today, and through December 23rd, I, along with some other awesome bloggers, will be bringing you 25 days of Christmas recipes and projects.
Now, how about some Peanut Butter Gooey Bars? That’s exactly what these are; gooey, moist, and delicious.
This is my absolute most favorite time of the year. The baking, the decorations, the lights. To me, the lights are the best part. I love driving through neighborhoods just looking at them. Mark and I have a deal: I decorate the inside and he does the outside. The girls help me and Jr. helps him, which is kind of lopsided if you think about it, since we have more girls than boys, but I’m not saying anything 😉
Back to the lights. I love to put them everywhere. On the tables, the windows, even the ceilings. Yes, the ceilings. And I make sure we have plenty of lights for the outside as well. I want this place dripping with them. D-r-i-p-p-i-n-g.
Obsessive? Maybe. OK, yes, it’s obsessive. You know what else I’m obsessive about? These Peanut Butter Gooey Bars. You’ll be crazy about them , too, once you taste them, because they are peanut butter & chocolate chip goodness.
The kids couldn’t keep their hands off of them. Neither could Mark. I had to practically keep them at bay with a fork. And speaking of forks, Carolyn actually started eating them with a fork right out of the pan. Seriously?
Welcome to my world.
On second thought, you need to welcome these Peanut Butter Gooey Bars into your world. You’ll thank me for it later.
