Dishes are no fun. Can I get an “Amen”? Especially when the hot water and strong dish soap dries out your hands {so much for that manicure I just got}. And forget gloves. How does water always manage to end up in them? So nasty!
Here’s my solution. Recently, I discovered Palmolive *soft touch. There are three formulas to choose from. I’ve already tried Vitamin E and Aloe, and can’t wait to try Coconut. So far, the Vitamin E is my favorite. It has a clean & fresh smell that I just love. Not only that, but even after washing a greasy pan, my hands were still soft. {and the pan was amazingly clean!}
Because I was so impressed with the way Palmolive *soft touch made my hands feel, I decided to take it a step further. Using the Vitamin E version, I made a sugar scrub. Hey, if my hands felt soft after just one greasy pan, imagine how they would feel if I pampered them a little!

Here’s all you need:
- 1/2 C Palmolive *soft touch vitamin E
- 1 3/4 C fine sugar
- 2 8 oz glass jars with lids
- In a bowl, mix the Palmolive *soft touch vitamin E and the sugar
- Divide evenly between the two jars
- Cap jars with lids
- Keep one and give one to a friend! {I gave mine to my daughter}
Now my hands can feel soft and supple anytime I like!
My oldest daughter is moving out soon, so I gave her my bottle of Palmolive *soft touch vitamin E and kept the bottle of Aloe for myself.
It’s true what they say, Palmolive is Tough on Grease, Soft on Hands.
Palmolive *soft touch can be purchased at Walmart and you can read reviews here before you buy
