When Mark and I were dating, we liked to go to the movies. We would usually get candy, popcorn and soda. Which was totally normal. What wasn’t {or at least what I thought wasn’t} normal, was how he would eat his Milk Duds and popcorn.
Together. In the same bite.
Turns out he felt the same way about me. He couldn’t believe that I didn’t eat my candy and popcorn like that.
He talked me into trying it. And you know what? I liked it. It works! Kind of like caramel corn, only chewier. And chocolaty. And way better, actually.
So when we decided to watch a movie over the weekend with the family, I decided we should have Milk Duds with our popcorn. But in a cookie.
You heard me.
in. a. cookie.
And you know what? It works, too. A cookie with buttery, crunchy popcorn and chewy, chocolaty caramel candy.
Eating Milk Duds with your popcorn without having to get your hands all greasy from the butter!
And you know what else? Everyone loved them. In fact, it took longer to make them than it did to eat them!
