Bring your family together at mealtime with the sweet and tangy flavor of this mini meatloaf recipe!
Ever feel like you’re always on the go, and never take time to “power down”? Between my husband running our communications business, my two jobs, my son’s guitar practice and my daughter’s busy work schedule, it seems as if we never quite get the chance to connect with one another anymore. Even dinnertime can be a challenge. My son, who is 13, is always glued to his video games, and my daughter is endlessly drawn to her phone by text and Snapchat messages.
Fortunately, I’ve got a secret weapon for distracting their hands. Manwich. Here’s the trick, you need both hands to eat a Manwich, so my family is focused on mealtime, not texting or playing video games. This gives us a chance to connect with each other in conversation – between mouthfuls, that is. I love that the Kid-Stopping Power of Manwich makes meals a messy-licious treat to be enjoyed with both hands – giving us moms and dads an easy, quality ingredient to bring the family’s attention back to mealtime and away from everyday distractions.
What’s more, I’ve discovered that it’s meatless hearty sauce has a sweet and tangy taste that makes it super versatile, making it perfect for sandwiches, pastas and more. I even used it in this mini meatloaf recipe and the gravy to go on top.
This recipe was so easy to make, and honestly didn’t take much time at all. The first step was to combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs and Manwich Original sauce.
Next, I patted them into muffin tins and topped them with a bit more sauce.
They were ready to eat in just about twenty minutes, giving me plenty of time to do some kitchen cleanup and make this delicious gravy.
Starting the week with #ManwichMonday is a great way to connect with the family before things get hectic.
Out of the three Manwich varieties, Original, Bold and Thick & Chunky, my favorite is Manwich Original. Visit the Manwich website to learn more about Manwich products. Finding these products near you is as easy as searching the Conagra Foods’ website using the product locator.
