I’ll be honest, whenever one of my kids tells me they are having a party in one of their classes, I cringe. Let’s face it, they usually need something the very next day.
And I have this ‘rule’. Well, sorta. My rule is that I do NOT like to go to anywhere after 3 pm. Strange, I know.
Here’s why:
- Traffic.
- I should be starting dinner.
- I’ve probably been out all day already and just want to stay home.
- I may have had a glass of wine {or two}.
Technically, #4 should be #1, but you get the idea.
A couple of days ago was no exception. My daughter Carolyn came home and guess what? She was having a party in one of her classes and needed to bring something. The. Very. Next. Day.
Fortunately, I was prepared. I had everything I needed to make some really “sweet” M&M Layer Bars.
These babies are perfect for a crowd because they are rich. Very rich. And a little goes a long way.
