I am so excited to be part of the 25 Days of Christmas here on {i love} my disorganized life. My name is Cindy and I blog over at Crazylou Creations. Most of the time I blog about quick, easy and tasty recipes, fun craft projects, workout routines or whatever happens to be going on in my life! I’d love for you to come on over and visit me!
This project that has been on my “to-do” list for awhile. I think you will find this crafty project is easy to do for a gift or perhaps to keep for yourself!
My jingle bell shadow box is easily customizable to fit your color scheme, too. I bought the shadow box at IKEA, but I know with a coupon for Michael’s or Hobby Lobby, you can find them inexpensively. The jingle bells I bought by using a coupon at Michaels! (Love those 50% coupons!) I used a piece of scrapbook paper that I already had on hand for the background. I also used my Cricut and vinyl that I bought for another project. I topped it off with silver Christmas pick I had on hand and tied a cute bow with ribbon.
Once you have your supplies, this project takes about 15 minutes to complete–it really does come together easily!
Supplies
Shadow Box ($9.99 at IKEA)
Jingle Bells ($3.49 at Michael’s–used a 50% off coupon)
Scrapbook Paper (on hand)
Vinyl (bought from Expressions Vinyl)
Ribbon (on hand)
Christmas Pick (on hand)
Modge Podge (on hand)
Hot Glue Gun (on hand)
Directions
Cut your scrapbook paper to fit the back of the shadow box. Apply Modge Podge to the back and carefully place paper over. Smooth out and allow to dry.
Next, fill frame with jingle bells. I bought a tube of red, white and silver jingle bells. Secure back of frame.
Clean glass.
Cut your saying out on your Cricut or other vinyl cutting device. I decided on Jingle All The Way. If you don’t have a Cricut, you could always buy the vinyl letter stickers. Carefully apply to the glass.
Attach the Christmas pick and ribbon bow on the top with your hot glue gun.
Sit back and enjoy the cute crafty project your just created!
I hope you enjoy this simple craft project–if anything, I hope it inspires you to create something to give as a gift this year. I love receiving handmade crafts for gifts–it means so much more!
Happy Holidays!
