“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Dunkin’ Brands. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”
When my sisters and I were growing up, my dad would sometimes get us donuts on the weekend as a treat. The nearest donut shop was Dunkin’ Donuts, and they were so delicious. It was just a short distance from where we lived, so once in a while my sister and I would walk over with our neighborhood friend and get a hot chocolate. It was super rich & creamy, in fact, I can almost taste it now.
Over the years, my tastes have changed from hot cocoa to coffee. However, I have to admit that when I discovered Dunkin’ Donuts coffee was available in stores, I didn’t try it right away. When I finally did, I could have kicked myself for not trying it sooner. It’s now the only coffee I drink.
You know how certain brands of coffee can taste bitter? Not Dunkin’ Donuts. It’s perfect every time, and the only way I start my day. And, because I love Dunkin’ Donuts so much, this year I’ve decided to share it. I have so many coffee-lovers in my life, I know they would all enjoy a homemade gift basket with lots of Dunkin’ Donuts goodies.
My local Dunkin’ Donuts carries lots of fun merchandise that I can pick up off the shelf to create the perfect gift basket. I found the Original Blend and French Vanilla, both already ground, so no extra work. I was even able to pick up a travel coffee mug and the most adorable ornament shaped like a box of donuts.
Now, with DD Perks loyalty program, I can earn rewards for my gift-giving generosity. For every dollar I spend using a registered Dunkin’ Donuts gift card, I’ll earn 5 points. After earning 200 points, I get a coupon for a free beverage of my choice. How cool is that? The best part? I don’t even have to have my DD card in hand to pay. All I need to do is pull up the DDPerks app on my smartphone and I’m good to go.
The DDPerks app also makes it easy to send gift cards. It’s the first national coffee retailer app to allows users to send gift cards via email, text and even Facebook. You know what that means? No more worrying about family and friends getting birthday, anniversary or Christmas gifts late, a huge plus in my book.
