This pull apart bread is made with cheesy, gooey swiss, Virginia ham, and takes less than 30 minutes to make. Perfect for noshing in a hurry!
In this case, you may want to make a bigger loaf simply for the fact that it’s so delicious. At least, that’s what I would do. I’m not big on sharing food 😉
Ready to get started?
Using a bread knife, slice your demi baguette (I found mine at Costco) lengthwise, making cuts 1-inch apart. Be sure not to cut all the way through the bread. Turn the loaf 180 degrees and cut the bread again, slicing 1-inch apart, making sure not to cut all the way through the bread. This will leave you with several ‘squares’ of bread.
Spread the mayo mixture in between all the slits, and be generous! Next, shove the sliced ham and cheese in between. Don’t be afraid of over-stuffing, there’s no such thing. You want this baby really loaded with cheesy, hammy goodness.
Once it’s baked to a nice cheesy, crispy top, sprinkle on some sliced green onions.
Set it on a nice wood cutting/serving board and watch as everyone comes running. Or not. You could always keep it a secret and have at it, I won’t tell.
