Father's Day Tie PancakesIngredients
- 1 Premier Protein® Vanilla Shake
- 1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 3-1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt
- Make a well in the center and pour in the shake, milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth
- Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat
- Put batter in plastic resealable bag and cut a small piece of the corner with kitchen scissors
- Create the outline of a tie shape on griddle
- Fill in the tie with additional batter
- Once pancake starts to form bubbles, flip and cook on remaining side until done {just a couple of minutes should do it}
- Spread pancake with a thin layer of honey
- Create a tie design with blueberries and raspberries
