These edible Santa hats are not only adorable, they are also yummy and so easy to make. Craft up a batch for your next holiday party.
Hello my disorganized life readers, I’m Vanessa from SeeVanessaCraft.com! I’m so happy to be here to show you how to make edible Santa hats. Can you guess what they are made out of? Oreos, Nutella stuffed Bugles and Sixlets, all covered in chocolate!
Ingredients
Bugles
Miniature Oreos
Nutella
White Sixlets
Red & White Melting Chocolate
Toothpicks
Floral Foam
Parchment Paper
Instructions
Step 1: Break off the tips of the Bugles, so you have a spot for the white ball to sit. Fill Bugles with Nutella.
Step 2: Melt red chocolate according to package (beware of over-melting). Dip Nutella filled Bugles into the red chocolate, place on a toothpick stuck in floral foam to dry. Allow Bugles to partially dry and place a white sixlet on top before fully dry. You may have to hold the white sixlet in place until the chocolate dries.
Step 3: Melt the white chocolate according to the package (beware of over-melting). Dip the miniature Oreos into the white chocolate and place on parchment paper. Allow the chocolate to semi-melt and place the completely dried Bugles on top of the Oreos. If you place them too soon, the red chocolate will bleed into the white.
Step 4: Allow to dry and enjoy!
