The other day I talked about how I had stopped being a conscious eater and had become, well, a reckless eater. I shared two printables with you, a Daily Goals tracker and a Weekly Goals tracker. Today I want to share an Easy Weight Loss Tracker. After weighing, I would normally write down what the scale said, and then how much weight I’d actually lost. Which is great, but it doesn’t give me an over-all view of how much I’ve lost vs. how much I still need to lose.
Let’s face it, most of us are visual people. I know I am. {hello, Pinterest much?} That’s why I made these cute little jars. Each time I weigh, which I plan to do once every two weeks, I will not only write down my progress, but I will also us my jars.
After determining the amount of weight I wanted to lose, I put one glass bead for each pound in one of the jars. Then, when I weigh, I will transfer one marble for each pound lost into the second jar. Fun, right?
These are super easy to make, and kind of cute, too.
Supplies:
- 2 small glass jars
- Chalkboard paint
- Painters tape {I used washi tape}
- Medium-sized paint brush
Directions:
- First, make sure the surface of your jars is clean and dry
- Mask off the area you want to paint {I eye-balled it}
- Paint the first coat in a horizontal pattern, allow to dry for one hour
- Paint the second coat in a vertical pattern, allow to dry one hour; remove tape
- With chalk, write on your jars: “0 down” and “{number of pounds you want to lose} to go”
