Need a quick snack to hold them over ’til dinner? This easy chocolate pudding dip will keep them {and you} satisfied until it’s time to eat!
The hours between 3-5pm at our house are challenging, to say the least. My son is getting home from school, my daughter is getting ready to leave for night school, and everyone else has long since eaten lunch. Basically, everyone is hungry and more than ready to eat.
What’s a mom to do when everyone is hungry, but, there’s no time to make a snack? My easy solution is a fun chocolate pudding dip. I got my inspiration walking through Walmart the other afternoon. I was in the dairy section when I spotted Hershey’s Ready to Eat Pudding.

I’m all about easy. With five kids, I’ve made ‘easy’ my middle name. This fun dip is so easy, in fact, it almost seems like cheating. Besides it’s great flavor, I love Hershey’s Ready to Eat Pudding because it’s made with milk and real Hershey’s cocoa, plus, it’s part of the Kraft family, which is a brand I can trust.
Here’s all I did. I bought some graham crackers, granola, mini candy coated chocolate, and the ingredients I needed to make homemade whipped cream. All you do is tear the lid off of the pudding, sprinkle with a tablespoon or two of granola, add in the candy coated chocolate. Break the graham crackers up into sticks for dipping and you’re almost there.
OK. Confession time. I only recently made whipped cream for the first time. I know, crazy, right? Anyhow, it’s so incredible easy to make, it’s ridiculous. And trust me, if it weren’t easy, I wouldn’t be doing it.
Using the recipe below, whip up some homemade whipped cream to top your chocolate pudding dip with.

I wanted to be sure my son got just the right portion of the mix-ins that he wanted, so I simply set the granola & mini candies in two small bowls with a fun spoon a {so he’s not putting his hands all over everything!} and set the graham crackers out for him. It’s much funner this way, too, don’t you think? Not only that, but it gives me more time to do what I need to do to get dinner on the table.
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love dipping graham crackers in chocolate, but, if you’ve got a picky one who insists on using a spoon, no big deal!
