Between back to school and busy weekends working long days, I just don’t have it in me most nights to make dinner. Especially if there’s a football game on. Luckily, I found a solution. The other day, as I was shopping at Sam’s Club, I stopped by their cafe for a soda when I spotted the Family Pizza Combo, which is a pretty amazing deal.
Here’s what you get for just $13.98:
- a 16″ pizza of your choice
- an order of cheesy bread sticks
- cookies
- a 2-liter bottle of Coke
And the cafe is pretty easy to spot.
It’s usually against the wall near the registers.
Or, you could just look for the giant signs on the wall.
After ordering, it only took about 10 minutes for my pizza to be ready. And the best part? I didn’t have to go hunting all over the store for the bread sticks, cookies and 2-liter bottle of Coke. It was all right there with my pizza, waiting for me to pick it up.
Now, whenever there’s a game we want to watch on Sunday’s, I can easily swing by Sam’s Club on my way home from work and pick up a combo. That way, not only do I get to skip making dinner, but it means more time watching the game with the family. Win-win.
I’d like to think we aren’t a very competitive family, but, we are. So, once in a while, we like to make the game even more exciting by playing a game of football bingo.
