This chocolate pecan pie is a delicious twist to a favorite classic pie!
As I sit here writing this post, I am having a serious craving for another slice of this delicious pie! It was easier than you might think to make, however, I did make one mistake. I didn’t make enough pies. One pie only lasted 1 1/2 days in our house, so, *note to self*, next time I’ll need to make at least two or three if I plan to share.
As a lover of nuts and chocolate, a chocolate pecan pie is the perfect dessert for me. Of course, I also love fruit pies, like the triple berry pot pies I made for brunch a few months ago, or the pineapple cream pie recipe my mother-in-law gave me.
The one thing that makes all of my pies perfect, however, is my mother’s recipe for foolproof pie crust. It’s flaky and perfect every.single.time.
But, seriously, how could you not love this pie with all of it’s chocolaty goodness? Do you have a favorite pie?
