Hi friends! I’m so excited to share this Easy 4th of July centerpiece with you. Just 5 minutes and a few simple items are all you need to create this fun and simple edible centerpiece.
Holidays can be stressful enough without having to worry about decorating. Besides, I have enough storage issues with my Christmas decorations, let alone trying to make space for any other holidays. An edible centerpiece solves both problems!
I used a glass, but you could always use plastic, making it safer for kids.
Supplies:
- Collins glass {or other tall, slender cylinder container}
- 1/3 lb each red, white and blue round candy-coated chocolate pieces {such as Sixlets}
- 1 piece red licorice {I used Twizzlers}
Directions:
- Trim licorice so that it sticks up about 2 inches above the glass
- Place in middle of glass and hold while adding candies; first red, then white and blue last
That’s it!
Grab enough supplies to make several and decorate your food/dessert table or each individual seating table. If using plastic containers, have your guests take them home as a fun party favor they can enjoy eating later!
