Chocolate bacon bark with sea salt is a sweet and salty homemade candy, perfect for a sweet treat any time. This chocolate bacon bark is also an easy holiday food gift idea!
I recently learned that bacon really does make everything taste better. Now, I know people have been talking about it for like, forever, but I just recently got it.
I seriously didn’t understand this phenomenon until a few months ago, when I started going to a cooking class with real chefs from some of Tucson’s most fabulous restaurants.
The chef instructors were incorporating bacon in some pretty great and unexpected ways {to be shared at a later date *wink*}.
Can we talk chocolate for a moment? I have been a lover of this magical ingredient for decades. It goes with nearly everything! Including bacon? At least, that’s what my initial reaction was. But, yes, it really does! And it is so incredibly good.
And salt. Let’s not forget the other half of this sweet and salty chocolate candy. And yes, I do realize that bacon has enough flavor on its own, but a little more is really a good thing here!
Besides, this is sea salt we’re talking about, so it’s got to be healthy, doesn’t it?
Even my husband and kids love this stuff. I like to make it around the holidays, any holiday, actually. It’s also a really great food gift for a hostess, a birthday, a thank you and even a new baby.
I mean, seriously, what new mama wouldn’t love this heavenly convection made of chocolate, sea salt and candied bacon?
This salted chocolate bacon bark is super easy to make, and super hard to resist!

Bark is not a super hard-set, due to bacon fat.
