***I was provided with a set of T-fal cookware to use and review, a set to give away, as well as the full version of the #CookingPlanit iPad / iPhone app to use and review. All opinions are 100% my own.***
I’ve recently been introduced to a site called #CookingPlanit. It’s basically a meal planner, how-to-cook cookbook, and kitchen timer all in one. It’s my lifesaver. Literally, because you have no idea what it’s like to face a hungry brood consisting of four very demanding children and one “It’s 4 o’clock, what’s for dinner?” husband. Or maybe you do….but that’s another post entirely.
Can I be honest with you? At first, I was skeptical about Cooking Planit. I mean, there are literally tons of websites that I can go to when my brain is fried and I need a recipe for dinner. But, they just aren’t easy to search, which only frustrates me. The other day, while at a friend’s house, I was in a panic because I had no clue as to what I was going to make for dinner. And when I say panic, I mean just that. I have major anxiety issues {some days are better than others} and not having dinner planned when it’s already 2 o’clock is one of my biggest triggers.
Luckily, I have the #CookingPlanit I-Phone app, because I certainly needed it that day! I knew I wanted to use the kale I already had on hand, so that’s where I started.
***Cooking Planit is free to use at its website and basic app. Its premium App is priced
at $2.99 (iPhone) and $4.99 (iPad)***
I simply searched the ingredient and chose the recipe I wanted from the list.
Next, I went to the grocery basket and chose the number of servings I needed to make.
Once you’ve checked off all your items, hit the browse button to go back to your recipe. Hit the ‘Get Started’ button and then choose ‘cook’.
This recipe can be used as a side, or, like I did, you can serve it as your main dish. It was fantastic, and no one knew I planned it on-the-go! See where I made the full recipe here.
There are so many great recipes to choose from, like the Quick Stir-Fry Meal that combines Stir-Fried Pork with Broccoli & Carrots with Ginger Rice with Peas. I made it last week and it was soo good, there wasn’t any left!
