This Chipotle Peach Cheese Danish recipe is a wonderful combination of spicy and sweet. Just as a touch of chipotle chili brings a little heat, the sweet cream cheese filling whisks it away.

It never fails. The moment I decide to eat healthier, exercise and loose a few pounds- WHAM! Here comes an anniversary, a birthday or some holiday where rich foods and sweets abound.
Mother’s Day is one of those holidays. We usually have my parents over for brunch, and I always make some sort of sweet. This year I decided to try my hand at a cheese danish, they’re just one of my many food weaknesses!
Rather than make just a plain cheese danish, I thought I’d mix it up a bit by topping them with some Bonne Maman Peach Preserves. But, I didn’t stop there. Using my recipe for Spicy Peach Pork as inspiration, I added some chipotle to the peach preserves. Oh, so good!
Yep, I ate one {possibly two}. I am such a sucker when it comes to sweets with my morning coffee, how could I resist?
