Hi everyone! My name is Mariely and I blog over at Sensational Creations. I love DIY’s, crafts, scrap booking and jewelry making. I met Rachel over a year ago when we attended an online blog conference. I’m so excited to be here as part of Rachel’s 25 Days of Christmas! I’ll be sharing an easy and affordable Christmas card with scrapbook materials, and I will also share a cute candy cane place card holder.
For the Christmas card, you will need scrapbook paper, plain and glittered foam, a label punch hole, double face tape dots, scissors, glue, and a regular punch hole.
Begin your Christmas card by cutting the scrapbook paper on your preferable size. Then, make 3 labels with a label punch hole; one white and two green labels. Stamp a short message–or a Holiday phrase–to the white label. Cut one of the green labels in half, and cut the right and left edges of the other green label.
For the Christmas tree, start by drawing a tree on a plain foam. Cut it, and then add some dots of glittered foam to the tree–which you can make with a regular punch hole. To finish the Christmas tree, you’ll need to draw a star on a glittered foam, cut it, and add it to the top of the tree. For the gifts below the Christmas tree, you just need to cut square pieces of plain foam.
Glue everything to the scrapbook paper, and you are done!
For the candy cane card holder, you will need three candy canes, tape, and a ribbon.
Tape the three candy canes together.
Besides a great place card holder for any Christmas related activity, it would make a cute Christmas card holder–or any other Christmas decoration!
