Boozy peanut butter s’mores milkshakes are an over-the-top decadent dessert, with chocolate, peanut butter, vodka, marshmallow and graham cracker.
Boozy peanut butter s’mores milkshakes … sounds like a mouthful, doesn’t it? Takes s’mores, add peanut butter. Add ice cream, turn it into a milkshake. Add flavored vodka, turn it into a boozy milkshake!
Do I have your attention yet? Good.
Milkshakes remind me of my childhood. My dad used to make them for us on summer nights. I always asked for chocolate. Since moving out on my own, I’ve not only continued to make milkshakes for myself, but I’ve experimented with different flavors.
A few years ago, after visiting a restaurant in Philadelphia that served boozy milkshakes, I made my own cocktail-based boozy milkshake at home. It’s a cocktail and a dessert combined!
One time, I really wanted a s’mores mikshake, but I only had chocolate-peanut butter ice cream. I went ahead and made it anyway, because regular s’mores with peanut butter is delicious, and it turns out, so is the milkshake!
Both regular whipped cream vodka and chocolate whipped cream vodka are delicious in this milkshake, so use whichever you have on hand or is easier to find. Top with mini marshmallows and toast with a kitchen torch. If you don’t have one, you can try a long-handled grill lighter, but it will take longer. Garnish with mini peanut butter cup candies!
