Bing’s Mimosas are the perfect drink for a warm Christmas morning. The tropical flavors come together so deliciously, you’re sure to have more than one!
Hi all! I’m Aubrey and I blog over at Real Housemoms. I blog about all kinds of yumminess. I share recipes and the occasional craft from real moms (and dads too).
I have a lot of fun over there and hope you’ll visit sometime. I’m so excited that Rachel invited me to be a part of 25 Days of Christmas. Christmas is my favorite time of year.
I love everything about it. There is so much hope and optimism this time of year. I love spending time with my family, all the fun memories, and making delicious food and drinks.
And that’s where this drink comes in. My mom has the best Christmas CD collection. Growing up we would listen to Christmas music all the time, so you can imagine that I have quite a few favorites.
I love the Christmas album that the Muppets made John Denver, Barbara Streisand’s Christmas CD, and Bing Crosby’s Christmas music.
We all love when he sings White Christmas but another fun song is Mele Kalikimaka. It’s Hawaii’s way to say Merry Christmas. It’s so tropical!
How many Christmas songs go that route? For the past 17 years I was living in Southern California and Arizona and did a lot of dreaming of White Christmases but I also had to embrace the warm Christmas mornings.
This song is perfect for a warm Christmas.
This drink has pineapple and mango juice to make it tropical but the color is perfect for a Christmas celebration. We drink mimosas in the morning after our coffee when we’re celebrating so anytime I think of a celebration there has to be mimosas involved!
I mixed all the juices together in a pitcher with the Grand Marnier but added the champagne to each glass so that it didn’t lose any of it’s bubbly. It was so good. My husband really liked it too.
I hope you have a great Christmas, warm or white, and enjoy spending time with family and friends. I’d love it if you came over to hang out with us on the blog or Facebook and say hi.
