My first experience with beer battered pickle spears was when Mr. Disorganized and I went to a local wing joint to watch our team play some serious football. The game wasn’t being aired where we live, so, naturally, we had to make the sacrifice and find somewhere else to watch it.
I had heard of fried pickles before, I had just never tried them, so when I saw these babies on the menu, I was pretty excited to give them a go and we ordered some. Y-U-M! I could seriously make a habit out of these.
Now, you know just as well as I do that watching your fave team play is super fun, and watching it with a room full of other sports fanatics is even better. It just isn’t all that cost effective.
I like my wings fairly spicy, so I need a few ‘cold beverages’ to wash them down. Not to mention an order {or two} of fried pickles, and that can get pretty pricey sometimes.
Did you know it’s super easy to have these at home? Plus it’s way more cost effective than eating out. Just 4 main ingredients is all it takes, and I’d venture to say you’ve already got them in your cupboard.
I know you are going to love this recipe, because it’s easy to make and doesn’t cost a ton of money for the ingredients. Plus, they’re perfect for a family game night, girls night in, or poker with the guys. Did I mention they were yummy?
