Add a special flavor to your mimosa with almond extract!
“Too much of anything is bad, but too much champagne is just right”
……
F.Scott Fitzgerald
Honestly, how can I disagree with Mr. Fitzgerald? I adore champagne, it’s a staple in our home for all major holidays. While I love to drink it alone, my favorite champagne is rather expensive {as it should be, right?}. We all love the classic mimosa, but it’s always fun to mix things up, don’t you think? I’ve mixed it with cranberry juice at Christmas, and even pineapple juice just for fun.
In baking, almond is one of my favorite flavors, so I figured, hey, why not add some of the fabulous Nielsen-Massey Almond Extract to a classic mimosa? The result was simply delicious!
I’ve been using Nielsen-Massey extracts for about a year now, and I absolutely love them! A family owned business since 1907, Nielsen-Massey focuses on quality and its customers. All of their products are gluten-free, allergen-free, GMO-free and Kosher and can be purchased at Williams-Sonoma. They also has a line of organic vanillas available as well.
