I wanted a fun way to celebrate the 4th of July this year, so I went to my local store and picked up a bottle of SVEDKA Limited Edition Stars & Stripes.
Don’t you just love the way the red, white and blue design jumps out at you? It’s as if a firecracker os going off.
Why SVEDKA? Because it’s imported from Sweden, and they’ve been perfecting vodka for centuries. Plus, SVEDKA is five times distilled. Now that’s quality you can taste.
I also love the fact that the brand is very responsible, and they take safety very seriously. (Please play responsibly.)
Aside from using SVEDKA in my cocktail, I also want something a little different, and I didn’t want to have to spend my whole celebration mixing drinks. Where’s the fun in that?
Here’s where the SVEDKA flavored gelatin comes in. I simply substituted part of the water for SVEDKA and made three different layers.
Once I knew the gelatin was well set, I simply cut them into squares and plated them. This made it easier for multiple people to grab them and pop them into their mouths at the same time.
Think ‘shot ski’ without needing the ski. Easy-peasy, right?
Are you headed to a party with these shots? Rather than cutting them into squares, you can also make these in 1 or 2 ounce plastic condiment cups with lids for easier travel.
All you need to do is prepare as usual and divide each layer evenly between cups. You’ll be the hit of the party.
Want to know where you can get your own bottle of SVEDKA Limited Edition Stars & Stripes party packaging? All you have to do is head to your local store like I did. Be sure you look for the $2 off neck hanger coupon!
As an added bonus you can earn 75 kicks for scanning the UPC at shelf and 200 kicks for purchasing the product. Don’t have the Shopkick app yet? Get it here!
Be sure to keep up with SVEDKA on Twitter.
