A few weeks ago I asked some of my blogger friends for their favorite crockpot recipes. They did not disappoint!
With winter really just beginning, it’s the perfect time for deliciously hot comfort food. What could be better than dishes you can throw together and forget about?
Here are 13 of my favorite crockpot meals for 2013.
This Slow Cooker Enchilada Soup by Shugary Sweets
is more than mouth-watering. It demands seconds! {and thirds! OK, I actually had four bowls, but I was really hungry}
This Slow Cooked Root Beer Pulled Pork by The Tasty Fork
is incredibly flavorful and juicy.
Crockpot Buffalo Chicken by Miss Information
is perfect for game-day! {definitely on my list for Superbowl Sunday!}
Crockpot Qdoba Night by Wine & Glue
This chicken would just as well be awesome in a burrito, taco or quesadilla
Crockpot Loaded Baked Potato Soup by It’s What’s for Dinner
is SO seriously thick and creamy and really does taste like a baked potato. I will absolutely be having this again! {I froze the leftovers}
Slow Cooker French Dip by Kitchen Meets Girl
Juicy, tender meat on a soft hoagie roll dipped in juice? You had me at ‘meat’.
Crockpot Tacos al Pastor by The Tasty Fork
Just the thought of these makes my mouth water. Pork, pineapple and chipotle peppers in adobo.
Need I say more?
Brown Sugar Crock Pot Pork by The Tasty Fork
Brown sugar, garlic and onions. Yes, please!
Can you imagine the leftovers on a sandwich? {me neither, since I doubt there would be any!}
I have to say, Miss Tasty is one of my favorite food bloggers.
She makes incredible food. Too bad she won’t live with me and cook for me full time.
{No, seriously, I’ve asked, and she said no}
Pulled Pork Tacos with Grilled Pineapple Salsa by Tumbleweed Contessa
I love a good pulled pork and with a pineapple salsa this one is no exception!
French Dip Sandwiches by The Redhead Baker
I know, I’ve already shared a french dip, but this one has BEER in it and just looked so good!
Can you blame me, really? Besides, it’s always good to have variation.
Crockpot Honey Bourbon Chicken by Persnickety Plates
Such a delicious combination of sweet and spicy! I love the idea of using honey
and red pepper flakes together. This is sure to be a hit with any family!
Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup by Life After Laundry
Talk about comfort food. Chicken noodle soup is one of my favorites!
Super Easy Whole Chicken by Couponing and Cooking
Such a versatile recipe. You can add as little or as much spice as you want,
depending on how you are going to use the chicken!
